Well, it's official...I'm 28 now. Eleven years away from high school. More than a whole decade gone...just like that. New updates to the cricket section coming soon. Lots of things have happened over the year, both in my own life, and outside of it. I am back in the old country working for a big four accounting firm as a Tax Executive. Go figure. I finished all my CPA exams and the related AICPA ethics exam successfully in the first attempt. Meanwhile, the Greenbay Packers have won the Superbowl, and deservedly so. My last few days in LA, I saw ice rain and sleet falling down from the skies. That is highly unusual for LA. India has won the cricket World Cup in 2011.

The Egyptian people have forced their leader to resign from his office. And a war has broken out in Libya. There is political unrest in several parts of North Africa and the Middle East. I have no idea what all this is leading to. Perhaps this is the great awakening or the great change or whatever it is that the Mayan calendar refers to. And who can forget the horrible disasters? Japan has been decimated by the earthquakes. I surely hope that they recover fast. That tiny island has accomplished a lot in this world. I have no doubt that they will recover quickly. The Japanese have iron determination. We also have state elections going on in many parts of India. Everyone knows that gets pretty ugly. And next year we will have to see if President Obama can get himself re-elected. I sure hope he can. There are others who hope he does not. Of course, we all agree to disagree.
